Land of Umpqua
In 2024 this spectacular gathering of fly tyers and fishers from around the Pacific Northwest join to celebrate the magnificent legacy of fishing and the great outdoors centered here in the Land of the Umpqua.
The Umpqua River is a world famous river system coursing through the county from the Cascades to the Pacific Ocean. A hundred fifty mile journey that touches the heart of fishers from around the country. Steelhead, salmon, trout, and bass. The Umpqua offers a plentiful bounty for fly fishers with the urge to explore, and swing some line over a multitude of waters and fish.
This years event is once again being held in the spacious Douglas County Fairgrounds where tyers from five states gather to spin some magic, make new friends and share techniques in the art of fly tying.
Join us! As a tyer or spectator. An unparalleled opportunity with some of the best tyers in this half of the country.
